Mrs. Barnett began her teaching career with the Etiwanda School District in 1989. That year, West Heritage Elementary opened it’s doors and Mrs. Barnett began what would be five and-a-half years of teaching 5th grade. After that she spent seven years being an at-home mom. In 2001, she returned to education to job-share with her husband teaching P.E. to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Etiwanda Intermediate School. The following year, Grapeland Elementary opened it’s doors and Mrs. Barnett went on to teach there for 12 years in 4th grade. Mrs. Barnett began teaching in the EASE program in 2015. In May, 1989, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Fresno. In 1994, she completed her Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology at California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
